# Artifacts

> Browse every output the agent has produced, from review tables and issue lists to extractions and drafted documents, across a project or your whole org.

Specset's **Artifacts** library lists the deliverables the agent saves as it works, such as review tables, issue lists, submittal logs, plan set comparisons, and drafted documents. Use it to find and reopen an output without searching through chats.

## Where to find artifacts

- **In a project**, open **Artifacts** in the project sidebar to see the outputs from that project's chats and agent sessions.
- **Across the organization**, Managers and Admins can open **Artifacts** in the organization sidebar. The list adds a **Project** column and a **Project** filter. See [Members & roles](https://docs.specset.com/docs/team-roles).

## Browse and filter outputs

Each row shows the artifact's **Name**, **Type**, the **Agent Session** that produced it, its **Status**, and when it was **Added**, with the avatar of the person who ran the session. The newest outputs are listed first.

1. Type in **Search artifacts** to match an artifact's name or the title of its session.
2. Open the filter to narrow the list by **Type**, by **Project** at the organization level, or by **Created by**: **All** or **Mine**.
3. Click a column header to sort by that column.

**Status** reads **Completed**, **In progress**, **Failed**, or **Paused**. A paused output stopped before it finished; open its session to see where the run ended. Outputs with rows show a count after the name, such as (8/20) while a review is still filling in.

## Open and export an output

1. Click a row to open the output. Tables, issue lists, and documents open in a side panel. A [plan comparison](https://docs.specset.com/docs/plan-compare) or a [submittal review](https://docs.specset.com/docs/submittal-review) opens in a full-screen review.
2. For tables and review matrices such as submittal logs and contract reviews, click **Export** to download an Excel (.xlsx) file.
3. Click the link in the **Agent Session** column to jump back into the conversation that produced the output and keep working with the agent.

## Start a new output

1. Click **New Artifact** in the upper right.
2. Search for or pick a skill that produces an output, such as a checklist, an extraction, or a document draft. If the skill opens a short form, fill it in and click **Continue**.
3. A chat opens with the skill ready to run. Add the scope you want, such as particular spec sections or a drawing set, and send the message.

**New Artifact** appears when at least one skill available to you produces an output. You can also start the same runs by typing `/` in any conversation; see [Skills](https://docs.specset.com/docs/skills).

For a guided example, start a [contract review](https://docs.specset.com/docs/contract-review), [build a submittal log](https://docs.specset.com/docs/submittal-log), or [fill a document template](https://docs.specset.com/docs/document-generation).

## Rename or delete outputs

Open a row's menu and choose **Edit** to rename the output, or **Delete** to remove it. To delete several at once, select their checkboxes and click **Delete**.

Deletion can't be undone. You can delete outputs from your own sessions; Managers and Admins can delete any. Deleting an issues output leaves the issues themselves in the project's [Issues](https://docs.specset.com/docs/issues) list. Deleting a chat also deletes the outputs it produced.

## Finding the chat behind a deliverable

Open **Chat → History** to see an artifact count on each conversation. Use the **Has artifacts** filter, so you can find the conversation that generated a deliverable instead of scrolling by title. See [Ask the project](https://docs.specset.com/docs/project-qa).
