Submittal reviews now produce a package you can send back as-is. The new Annotate & Download action stamps every review finding onto the submittal pages and exports the annotated PDF in one step.

Reviewers stay in control of what ships:

• Editable issue marks. Move, reword, or remove any annotation before export. Edits sync back into the compiled review, so the record and the package always match.
• Review-scoped marks. Marks belong to the review that created them, so re-reviews start clean instead of inheriting stale annotations.

A long list of findings doesn't tell you what a design's problems will cost. The Issues page now opens on an Overview dashboard that does.

• Cost and impact, added automatically. Significant issues are enriched with impact tags (schedule, rework, safety, and more) and an estimated cost-to-correct range.
• Exposure at a glance. The dashboard rolls those up into active cost exposure, a status burndown, and the costed findings driving the number.
• Sliced the way you triage. Breakdowns by impact, issue type, and discipline link straight into the filtered list, and every row opens the full issue preview.

Closeout packages usually end their life as a thousand-page PDF nobody opens. Specset now turns them into a structured record set the owner and facilities team can actually use.

• A real record model. Assets, systems, locations, products, companies, and warranties, each with its own page, linked documents, and documentation.
• Agent-built, not hand-entered. Drop closeout files into the project and the agent classifies each one, links it to the right records, and fills in the details from the documents themselves.
• Bundles get unbundled. Supplier packages, commissioning packets, and per-area warranty packs are sliced into per-asset and per-location documents, with every slice tracing back to its source pages.
• Warranties, extracted. Warranty documents become structured records with dates, terms, and contacts, collected in a project-wide warranties list sorted by expiration.

Design Quality Review works spec-first: it walks your specification sections and checks the design against them. The new Drawing Review agent works from the other direction, leading with the sheets themselves.

• Every sheet gets its own reviewer. The agent fans out across the drawing set in parallel, one review per sheet.
• Cross-discipline checks. Each sheet is compared against the related sheets it coordinates with, across disciplines: structural against architectural, mechanical against plumbing, plans against their schedules and details.
• Coordination defects surface as issues. Clashes, conflicting values, and broken callouts or cross-references land in your Issues list with citations to the exact sheet regions involved.

Run it alongside Design Quality Review rather than instead of it. The two catch different classes of problems. Read more in Design review.

Reviewers can now finish a review the way they always have: with the firm's own stamp on the page.

• Bring your existing stamps. Upload the same dynamic stamp PDFs you use in Bluebeam under Org Settings. Specset reads the stamp's form fields and figures out which is the date, the reviewer, the project, and which need manual input.
• One-click placement. In the document viewer, choose Apply stamp, pick a stamp, and the date and reviewer fill in automatically. Anything left gets a quick prompt.
• Stays with the document. Placed stamps persist with the document's annotations and come along in downloads.

Projects with multiple buildings often ship a spec book and drawing set per building, with the same section and sheet numbers repeated in each. Specset now supports building areas to keep them straight.

• Per-building namespaces. Assign an area to each spec or drawing file, and every extracted section and sheet inherits it. Section 09 91 23 in Building A and Building B are now two distinct records.
• Grouped browsing. The specifications list groups by area and then division, so each building reads as its own spec book.
• Area-aware answers. Search, Q&A, and reviews understand areas, disambiguate duplicate numbers, and can be scoped to a single building.

Submittal review has been rebuilt from the ground up. Instead of walking a generic checklist, the review now starts from the submittal itself: it reads what was actually submitted and generates review checks from that content, then verifies each one against your specifications, drawings, and RFIs.

• Submittal-first checks. Because checks come from the submittal's own pages, the review covers everything that was actually submitted, not just what a spec-driven checklist expects to find.
• A citation behind every verdict. A finding is only allowed to stand if it cites the governing requirement, whether that's a spec paragraph, a schedule value on a drawing, or an RFI response. Click any finding to see exactly what it was checked against.
• One review workflow. Findings consolidate into issues on a single Overview page. Step through them in the review flyout, dismiss what doesn't apply, and reopen anything later.
• Ready-to-send exports. Download the review as a marked-up PDF package with a clickable issue table of contents, or as a spreadsheet.
