Specset now has a dedicated changelog. Every product update we ship lands on this page, with screenshots and short demos so you can see what changed without digging through release notes.

Alongside it, the documentation has a new home at docs.specset.com. The help center is now organized into focused pages for each part of the platform, from creating your first project to the F&M portal, with full-text search and deep links you can share with your team.

Your deliverables already have a format. The agent now drafts into it instead of starting from a blank page.

• Word templates. Attach a .docx and the agent maps its structure, then fills each section with content grounded in your project record. Every fill is backed by citations, and sections that need information only you have are flagged for input rather than invented.
• Excel templates. Attach a .xlsx form or log and the agent fills the fields and table rows while your formulas, styles, dropdowns, and images stay byte-for-byte intact. The result opens in Excel like you filled it in yourself.
• Review before it ships. Drafts open in the paginated document editor for a final pass, then export to DOCX or spreadsheet.

Templates can be attached ad hoc in a chat or registered on a skill so the whole team drafts the same way. Read more in Skills.

AI review findings are only worth your time if you can trust them. Issues now get a built-in second opinion: an independent verification agent that re-researches each finding from scratch, with no stake in the original conclusion.

• Confirm or reject, with receipts. The verifier re-reads the cited documents and either confirms the issue, rejects it, or refines it. Its full reasoning is available as a dedicated verification thread on the issue.
• Severity gets a sanity check. Overstated or understated severities are corrected as part of verification, so the high-severity list stays trustworthy.
• Automatic on new reviews. Projects can turn on auto-verification so design quality, deep design, and drawing review issues are verified as they're created.
• Filter by verdict. Verification status appears on every issue, and the list and Overview dashboard filter by it, so you can start with confirmed issues and work outward.

Specset now includes a native scheduling module, so the schedule can live next to the documents it depends on.

• CPM engine. Activities, dependencies, and critical-path calculation run natively; no round-trips to a separate scheduling tool.
• P6 import and export. Bring in an existing Primavera P6 schedule, work on it in Specset, and export it back out for partners who stay in P6.
• Versions and lookaheads. Snapshot the schedule as versions to track slippage over time, and build two- to six-week lookahead views for field coordination.

Maintenance tasks extracted from your O&M manuals are only useful if someone actually works through them. That workflow now exists.

• Due now, at a glance. Every asset page groups its maintenance into Due now and Coming up, with a red pill on the tab so overdue work is visible from anywhere.
• Log in bulk. Select a batch of routine tasks and log them done in one step. Due dates re-anchor automatically for the next cycle.
• Guided runs. Start a maintenance run and step through one task at a time, built for a phone in the field. Progress saves as you go, so an interrupted run resumes where it left off, and photos attach as evidence on each completion.
• A readable schedule. The maintenance calendar and timeline cluster same-day items per asset, so a dense PM program stays legible.

Three improvements for teams running many projects at once:

• Folders. Group the projects list into org-wide folders, so regions, divisions, or phases each get their own shelf.
• Card views. Projects and locations can now be browsed as visual cards instead of rows, which makes large portfolios much faster to scan.
• Project duplication. Start a new job from an existing one: duplication clones the documents and the spec and drawing structure into a fresh project, so repeat work skips the setup.

Submittal reviews now cross-check every submitted product against your conformed specifications. When a product shows up in the submittal but not in the spec, the review flags it.

That catches the cases that are easiest to miss under deadline pressure: unapproved substitutions, items from a different spec section, and products that were value-engineered out but never left the submittal package. Each flag cites the spec sections that were checked, so verifying it takes one click.
