Ask the project — Q&A chat

Click the chat bubble in the upper right — available from anywhere in the project, at any time. Ask in plain language; answers come from your conformed source of truth. Every role can use it.

• Ask about any part of the project — square footage, material lists, quantity counts, schedules.
• Run chats in parallel — start a new question while another is still thinking, then come back to the first.
• Everything is source-cited — click any statement in an answer to see exactly where in the documents it came from.
• Find chats by what they produced — chat history has search, a Has output filter, and per-chat output counts, so the conversation behind a deliverable is easy to find. Outputs themselves live in The Library.

Dictate a message

Use voice dictation when speaking is faster than typing, whether you are at your desk or walking the jobsite.

1. Click the waveform Dictate button in the message composer.
2. Speak while the red timer is running.
3. Click Stop dictation. Specset transcribes the recording and adds the text to your message.
4. Review or edit the text, then send it when you are ready.

Your browser asks for microphone access the first time. If access is blocked, allow it from the site's controls in your browser and try again. The same dictation control is available in the Daily Log quick entry.

Agent memory

The agent remembers how your team works across conversations. State a preference or a decision once and it carries into every future chat.

• Saved as you chat. When you tell the agent something worth keeping ("always quote fire-rating requirements verbatim", "our submittal logs group by division"), it saves a memory and marks it with a chip in the conversation. Nothing is stored silently.
• Applied everywhere. Memories load into every new conversation, org-wide or scoped to a single project.
• Yours to manage. Review, edit, and delete memories under Org Settings → Memory or Project Settings → Memory, including everything the agent saved on its own.
